• HPBQ193.zip: This is a compressed file that contains the files needed to create a bootable USB drive with HP DMI Tool 4.0.
• HPSET14B.exe: This is an optional file that allows you to set the feature byte and build ID on some HP laptop models.

Step 2: Create a Bootable USB Drive with HP DMI Tool 4.0

You will need a USB drive with at least 4 GB of storage space to create a bootable USB drive with HP DMI Tool 4.0. Follow these steps to create one:

1. Insert the USB drive into your computer and format it as FAT or FAT32.

9. You will see a window with several tabs. Select the “System IDs” tab.
10. You will see several fields with system information. You can edit any of them as needed. For example, you can enter your product name, serial number, SKU, etc.
11. When you are done editing, click on “Write” at the bottom right corner of the window.
12. You will see a message “Writing System IDs…”. Wait for a few seconds.
13. You will see a message “System IDs written successfully”. Click on “OK”.
14. Click on “Exit” at the bottom right corner of the window.
15. You will see a message “Do you want to reboot?”. Click on “Yes”.
